New Option

I came up with an idea today whilst adding in another entry to the ever growing list of films in the DB. I thought about having a way of tagging films that I feel are classics in my eyes, now the obvious way to do this would be via the lists option I created and built in. But after thinking about it this wasn't really the best option for a couple of reasons.

Firstly I wanted a way of people seeing the ones I classed as a classic easily on the actual film page not by having to go into a list somewhere and secondly I wanted to be able to access easily what films I classed as classics. If I did this via a list I woudl have to know the list Id and such to them use and manipulate it else where, not a good practice when the lists only have 1 way of working.

So I created an extra table in the DB, put together some new code and functions in the admin section and 5 minutes late I had the new options all set up for tagging films as classics. Now need to amend the front end code for the visitor site to check if a film is a classic and how to display that fact.
