Will I, won't I

In the admin section for the site I have been adding functionality as and when I needed it. This functionality will always have an impact on either how easy it is to add information on the site or making more info available on the site. At times I am pretty happy with how things work (even if it is clunky), but at times things don't quite work as they should and I am not 100% sure why.

An example of this is the search a person to tag them in a film. I recently added a new actor and wanted to add him to a film, but when I was in the film doing a search on his name he never showed up, in fact others with a similar name to him didn't either. To be honest I don't have the time to go picking at everything to work out why they aren't showing up (I will go back later to do this) but it meant that when ever I want to add this actor to a film his name will never be brought back with the search.

So to combat this I added a bit of functionality to the person admin area that I should have added way back at the beginning. currently by clicking on a name you can see all the films they are tagged to and then remove any of them if you wish. I have now added functionality to add a film to the person (opposite way of doing it on the film), that way any problems with names in the DB not being returned you can add them this way. Job done although it took me about an hour and a half to replicate something that I already had half working but in a slightly different way.
