Well that was a surprise

So last night I needed to check if I had tagged someone to a film as it was mentioned to me that this actor was in a film I had seen but I didn't remember them being in it. I was away out at a friend's so though I will use their wifi to check. so I fired up the site on my phone and I got a rather pleasant surprise, it all worked on a mobile device as I had worked it out it should and designed it to have done.

Ok so that shouldn't be a surprise, but the fact that something I had built worked exactly as I intended it always surprises me especially when im not testing it and using it as a normal person would be. I was very chuffed with myself as it scaled and showed just how I had it in my head to do so, so much so I forgot I was checking for something and just had a little look about on the site instead ha ha.

From that though I did notice a few things that I was aware would be on mobile versions of the site so I started doing a little work in the background today. The first part was to make sure that the slide in text of films and lists on their thumb images just permanently showed on mobile versions of the site. Not great but then you cant have a hover over on a mobile device.

There are a couple of other little its and bobs that i will tweak as I go along but I am still so impressed that this works as it should, I know something I made works properly ha ha
