Admin re-build phase 1 done

So 8 days ago I started on re-working the admin section for this site. Like i said last time the original admin section was built as I was going along and was never intended as the final one but had kind of become it. So this re-working aimed to put in place a better design, some extra functionality, a load more security and error detection and correction.

I am happy to say that I have no replicated all functionality that was in the current admin section in the new one. Extra functionality includes a log in form so the admin section is not accessible to anyone with the link as well as log in checks on all scrips and pages so as to make sure the person can definately do what they are trying to. The ability to edit names and links of the profiles of people you can tag to films, extra error checking for all of the people tagging section. Extra checks for lists and list creation to make sure that no duplicates can be created, reworking of ajax calls and information passed on the fly, new layout and styling for all pages (keeping it simple though) and catching where from edits come from (editing people, films, lists) so you are returned back where you came from i.e. the homepage or in the admin sections for those parts.

All of this means that phase 1 is now done I can think about adding some extra functionality and working on parts for phase 2. The idea woudl be to make it easier to add and edit items on the fly although I may not add this as it would be a lot of work for functionality that is already there and working.
