To add or not to add

So work has progressed very well on this site and I have implemented a lot of the things I wanted to do add right from the start but one thing I keep changing my mind on is the ability to add when I have watched a film. The reason being is that the site tracks I watch and people related to these films and creates a kind of my own mixture of letterboxd and imdb. Now this is a personal site so for me it may be a good thing to tag when I watch a film, but the other role of the dice is why do I want to add that as there is no point really on the front end of things.

As I wouldn't be adding in when it was watched on the films actual page as it already is full of information, but perhaps another section to the site could be a diary almost of what I have watched and when I watched them. This might be a good thing for myself to look back at but its not something I think I would use that much. So should I spend my time and effort adding in new functionality into the admin section to add and track these things and build a front end page to display them when I may not use it that much. At the moment I can capture and track my film viewing n lists but that just goes as a whole and doesn't go to a granular level of the actual date. So the big question is, is that good enough or do I want to get that granular information?

I would be able to implement it all not to difficultly, as its quite easy to do but its just that pay for for the time spent to the time I would actually use it. Even now as I type this I'm leaning to no although I do like the idea of it. Perhaps if this was a bigger site and had other people using it than me it might be a needed feature but I don't think it is the more I think about it at the moment.
