Here we go again

Well after another long period of not working on anything apart from some small bits and bobs, i decided to get some of the SIW site done. Once again we are starting from scratch, we have thrown out the design and other bits and christ is working on the new shiny design. With a little bit of work done on the friday and the bulk of the work ive done coming on the sunday ive progressed quite far quickly.

Ive got a load of stuff allworking, including the basic functionality for the profile and review pages done. Ive built in a bot of error detecion and hadeling, written about 30+ functions. So all in all a good day, i need to put together some more reviews to fill the database up with, and different types of reviews (wii,ds,tv ect ect) so i can fully test and work on some more functionality.

I keep coming up with ideas as i go along for thigns to add in, and it looks like on each reviewers profile there will be an bit to show how many reviews you have written, how many stars you have given out and what your average review rating is.

I showed chris the new basic functionality i had built and he was liking it all even though none of it is formatted in anyway, as we dont have a design/template/css styles for anything as of yet. I didnt see the point of putting in css text styles at this point as they will change with the design plus just now is all about getting the server side code done and getting the functionality in place.

So not to bad for about half a days worth of work, hopefully ill get more of a chance in the next week or so to work on it all some more and get another update on here asap.
