Back down the coal mine

Once again, after a lul in work on the SIW, site ive managed to spend a little time working on it again, whilst also starting to fill the database with some more reviews for testing purposes.

Ive been working on the database and pages with only 2 reviews in the system, but chris has now given me one, and ive written another couple all for different sections in the review hub. This is allowing me to check and work on the code ive already put together testing it to see if i can break it. Im glad to say that initially i added in new content and the system so far accepted it all and displayed it all as intended.

the new content was not only viewable, readable and selectable but fitted and updated the profile pagesof the relevent authors proving the code so far works. I did encounter a few issues later but these were minor and due to small changes i had made by mistake so switching back to the origional code allowed it to work again.

Ive also added in, both in the database, profile page and content holder page a new section to SIW for articles. These articles will be written by the different authors and can be on anything they want so in essence its kind of a blog/article secition. We are hoping this will give the site and extra string to its bow and allow more of the authors personalities through and bring more visitors to SIW.

With all these new content and features built implimented and working i decided this was a good stopping point for now. But worry not, chris has been making in roads in the design and template build and ill be back on the coding case tomorrow and hopefully next week to further develop what we currently have.
