Results so far
So far this project has taken a little bit of a side step, although i did manage to get the gravity part all set up and working ok.
The addition of water into this caused a little bit of a problem, but i had some fun playing about with it.
The overall result so far on this was the object falls x distance, then lands in an area that i have designated as a water area.
The object then sinks (slower, due to water resistance) untill it reaches a point where by its momentum ends and now the force of the water starts to push the object back to the surface of the water area we have set.
The object when arriving at the top should then bob up and down on the surface of the water area. This works (sort off) as it bobs a little to much as the gravity takes effect again and pushes it below the water to far and then it rises back to the top and here we start our catch-22 situation.
I so want to get this working as it will fit into a great idea for a little flash game, i also need to get collision detection working between the objects and so they will also rise and fall under the water with correect motion as well.
This project is taking a bit of a back seat at the moment, as i have SIW/OJF and christines sites to work on, once these are done i shall come back and re-address this project.
