Foundations are ready

With the basic foundations to what i want to achieve with this project in place and working, only some tweeking is needed to make it a smoother user experience.

The idea is to have a homepage that displays the 20 latest public pictures posted on flickr. With links to those peoples profiles and pictures beside that picture. I also would like to use the likes of light box and allow users to click on any of the 20 images displayed and get a larger version that they can see without having to go into a persons profile.

Ive also started to piece together a design for this to all sit in, instead of my normal design it in photoshop im going with design it as i go so it will most likely look rather rubbish but i dont have the time to sit down and create a new design for this.

Idealy i want to create some icons that willsit to the side of the images that will link users to that persons profile and what not but this remails to be seen if it will be included over other means.

I am also aiming to still allow the person to log into flickr via the api and allow them the functionality to add comments to peoples pictures, and add those people as friends to their own profile. In the longer term i aim to ad more functionality to this if i can get the previously mentioned functionality working.
