So.....
I thought I would take the time to update sme of the projects on the workshop that seem to be in limbo as I know only to well how bad it looks to have a project that isnt going anywhere. Not only that, but when you look a the dates and realise a year or years have passed since it's inception yet it's no further forward.
The spilled it wrong project is one of those projects that started between myself and Chris and shoul dof bene completeed in at least 6/8 months time. Now i will say at this point in time 90% of the front end code is working and in place. I filled the database with 10+ reviews in different categories to test the coding and it worked. The search facility needed a fair bit of tweeking though. But the recomendations section based on what article you were reading was showing some promise and needed a little more work done to it.
So what happened?
The simplest of answers, Life! Chris had been working on designs for the front end of the site but nothing seemed to appear that we both liked and worked well. It would either be heavily stilised which took away from the content of the site or a bit to plain and didnt do what we wanted to do. It was around this time that we both got involved with roller derby and started a womenas league locally which took up vast amounts of our time (and still does as we are ref's for the league and on other committeess to run the league). Throw into the mix training/work and a few other things and you get the idea why we have been just so busy and why Spilled it wrong took a back seat for so long.
Even though a lot of work had been carried out on Spilled it wrong, i think it is safe to say that it will not be being worked on anytime soon, so at this point in time i have decided to set the project as complete as i doubt we will be revisiting it any time soon unfortunately.
