UK Cookie Law Solution (Work)

With the new cookie law coming into force on May the 26th 2012, I had to come up with a solution to make sure my employers website complied with the new law. Due to the way their website works and is built (mostly the legacy of all the pages and no backend CMS) there is no easy answer to this. I had started to work on a JavaScript based solution as many pages on the website are just html restricting the use of server side code unless these pages used Ajax or I Frames to do so. The solution also has to be robust whilst having the ability to be deployed easily throughout many microsites and main sites.
