HTML5 Audio Player

The last couple of days at work I have been playing about with CSS3 and HTML5 to achieve things that previously you would have had to use jQuery or Javascript to do. This got me thinking about all the bits and bob's that these new technologies could and can do. I know that there is the new video tag but I was wondering what I could do with the Audio tag. My idea was to be able to build something that is dynamic and will utilise PHP and jQuery, to create dynamic lists of say audio files in a folder that then are server up in the browser that the user can select which one they want to hear and it is loaded into the player.
